Snarky Hippie is committed to handcrafting our products in small batches with only organic products from nature, when available, including our scents and colorants. Plus, we’re fun at parties.
Our ingredients are organic and natural and mostly sourced through small businesses. Our most frequently used ingredients include skin-loving butters such as shea and mango, and olive, sunflower, coconut, and avocado oils.
Of course not, silly! All of our products are scented with organic essential oils. Essential oils are nature’s perfume. Many essential oils are also beneficial for the skin and the mind. And a mind is a terrible thing to waste, but we digress…
There’s a lot of varying information out there. It’s always best to consult your healthcare practitioner if you have any questions or concerns. Dr. Who doesn’t count. Or does he…?
We do not use chemicals or artificial stabilizers to increase the life of our products. A good rule of thumb is to use products within six months. Since our products are solely scented with essential oils, their scent can fade after time. For body butters, use a clean utensil to scoop out product to apply. For soaps, allow to dry between uses to increase their staying power. For valuable life lessons, refer to The Brady Bunch.
Never! Unless you count us. We test all products on our own skin prior to making it available to the public. We also do not source ingredients from companies that test on animals. We personally have several irritable animals in our household and we’re not trying to piss them off.
Here’s the skinny… We can’t guarantee shipping conditions but can assure you that if your product melts, it does not impact quality. Just pop that bad boy in the fridge and allow it to re-solidify. Some might choose to rewhip their body butter, whip it real good.
Nope. We are committed to using organic products. To meet USDA organic regulations, farmers and processors must show they aren’t using GMOs and they are protecting their products from contact with GMOs. With that said, we highly recommend contact with goats. Goats are good.
Due to the nature of our products (handmade, natural), we can’t accept returns. However, if you are not satisfied with your product, please contact us so that we can make it right. We’re groovy like that.
