Snarky Hippie was born from the realization that there is a frightening amount of artificial garbage in skincare products. That, and the need to vacate our day jobs to free ourselves from the constant shenanigans of The Man. Seriously though… Mass produced skincare products often contain chemical ingredients that are known carcinogens, hormone disruptors, and allergens.

We’re not trying to piss off Mother Nature, we’ve seen what she can do. We strive to be earth warriors by using only recyclable, biodegradable, and minimalistic materials for our packaging. We believe in having a small ecological footprint and waste as little as possible. We believe in using products free from GMOS. We believe in using only ingredients that are never tested on animals.
tHE LOWDOWN
We believe in the power of nature and its ability to heal, soothe, and invigorate. We believe in products free from GMOs. We believe in products that are good to your skin and the environment, and keepin’ it real.
The lowdown is that organic ingredients are pesticide-free and not genetically modified. They are better for the environment, richer in nutrients and antioxidants, and healthier. That’s far out!
Our products are free from synthetic preservatives that often contain petroleum which totally harshes nature’s vibe. Instead, we formulate small batches with natural preservatives, for the freshest and highest quality products.
We believe in using only ingredients that are never tested on animals and we will never test on animals. We’re not sure what we believe about Bigfoot. The jury’s still out.
Irresponsible harvesting of palm oil has contributed to deforestation & climate change, compromising the habitat of already endangered species, and human rights violations. We’re not cool with that.
Use chemicals that can be found in brake fluid, pesticide, and anti-freeze. These ingredients are absorbed into our skin and bloodstream, where they then stay and accumulate. That’s hardcore grody.
